The rooms were spotless and the location was gorgeous. The restaurant was nice for breakfast and dinner here, I had warm dishes. The service was first-rate, enjoyed it. I had a comfortable stay here and would happily return.

At Bodysgallen they treat you like royalty! Nothing is too much trouble but they are not 'stiff and starchy' just interested in giving excellent service! I have a dietary restriction and I know that at Bodysgallen they can provide me with the most wonderful food! Normally I am unable to be catered for but here they can even provide me with choices! Although it is slightly more expensive than some hotels it does give excellent value for money. I would recommend Bodysgallen to all as it really does show the best Wales has to offer! The gardens are stunning no matter what time of year and the surrounding scenery justs sets off a perfect, idyllic retreat!

The cottage was very nice. It had real character but was well set out. The gardens were beautiful.
The bistro doesn't work. The food isn't particularly good, the feel of the place is cold and the decor not at all bistro-like. I feel sorry for the staff because they were trying.

The executive queen room was well-equipped and had wonderful views of Snowdonia, plus it's in a peaceful location about a 10-15 minute walk from the Church of St Hilary.

We stayed in ne of the cottages on the ground with our own little private garden which was nice and private which was very romantic. Just what we wanted.
The bathroom was a let down compared to the rest of the cottage, it was a bit out dated.

The gardens and setting of the hotel was excellant. The cottage we stayed in was in a good position away from the main hotel yet near to all the services. The hotel was situated near to all the sea side ammenities.
The road leading to the hotel had very deep channels designed to slow down traffic but could have been very damaging to the car. The bath and shower facilities in the cottage needs up grading. Ideally breakfast could be offered as part of the package of staying in the cottage.

The location is absolutely stunning, surrounded by beautifully cared for gardens that lead to my spacious bedroom. The four poster bed was incredibly comfortable, and having a separate bathroom and a bath/shower room just off the lounge area was very convenient. The service provided by the staff was top-notch, they were attentive to the smallest detail and made me feel so welcome. The restaurant served a truly delicious meal, with a variety of vegetables on crispy pastry that was a delight to eat. the experience here was fantastic.
I highly recommend this place to everyone.

We stayed at one of the cottages, the Engine Room, and we loved it. Gardens are well maintained. Main restaurant and 1620 Bistro have good and tasty options. Hotel and spa services are professional and very friendly. We highly recommend this hotel for couples that would like to "recharge" batteries on a weekend break. The hotel is very close to Llandudno and Conwy that are towns with interesting landmarks and/or places to visit.

This is an absolutely first class location and service. The rooms have avery definite Victorian feel and the cottages are just a delight. The staff are totally invisible you dont see rooms being tidied or the beds turned back it just happens. The food is about as good as it gets with the main restaurant, the 1620 more casual eating but still gourmet, abnd the spa is evrything you want it to be. The pool is very substantial with a range of treatments and massages etc available at reasonable rates and very obviously visitors return again and again. Would recommend this to any discerning person
